On the Mend.

I am definitely on the mend. Whatever this is really wants to stick with me, but I’m feeling a lot better today. I’m continuing with a lot of sleep and plenty of fluids, and my voice is back again. I even made it through three days of classes last week! Speaking of which, I’m pretty read more

Yet Again.

TheBoy and I have been sick pretty much since we got home from Vegas. He’s managed to go to work every day, and take care of me, because I have been flat out. If you know me, don’t call for the next couple of days. I have pretty close to literally no voice at all. read more

And the Highlight of the Week was…

Penn and Teller! It was a great show, and all of us got to participate. TheBoy signed an envelope and looked at a box, Ben picked a card, and I got to inspect a bullet during the magic bullet trick. I need to go through photos and upload them to Flickr, and I don’t have read more

Shot a Man in Reno, Just to Watch Him Die.

Here’s a little tip to anyone who might need to stay in Reno. There’s a pretty nice Holiday Inn, not that expensive there. They have fancy cable and free internet. Plus, they were the only place we could find with a room at 10:30 last night when we realized that due to snow [and a read more

How Come?

How come you never see a woman playing an accordian?! I love that John Linnell of They Might Be Giants plays one, but how come you never see a woman with one? I’ve half a mind to take it up, if I really needed another hobby.

Sunday Night Update

Spent the weekend relaxing mostly. Last week was pretty stressful, and there will be a little more stress this week before it is all over. I had a dinner meeting on Friday, which ended up being a lot of fun, and then came home and spent some time hanging out with TheBoy, who had a read more

Behind.

Life is really busy these days. Tomorrow, TheBoy and I will have a big bed. A king-sized bed. We needed a new bed because the old box spring died. We figured if we had to buy a bed, we were not buying another full bed because that bed was way too small for two grown read more

Christ-A-Licious!

TheBoy and I do grocery shopping once a week. We try to go on Sunday evenings, after dinner if possible, when our chosen grocery store is less packed. Although, our store of choice is brand new, so there usually aren’t that many people swarming it. At any rate, we always try to make up a read more
