This turned out to be an unexpectedly busy week. Lots of running around and projects. And I’m still plugging away at all of my Christmas projects and starting to plan out my Christmas baking. I send a box to my husband’s family in Las Vegas every year, and while there are some standbys (cranberry-orange bread and white chocolate cashew bark) I also try to change things up a little every year, for variety. This year my list of cookies is starting withthese chocolate toffee cookies posted over at Smitten Kitchen. Only with pecans instead of walnuts because I have a devout walnut hater in my home.
