Cathartic Ink putting my own spin on things

Look ma, no wet!

A new chemical concocted by scientists at the Tyco's
Fire and Security Division looks and acts just like water except for one thing... it doesn't get things wet.

While I think this is extremely weird, and I'd like to know how harmful the chemical compound and its
manufacturing process is, I think that it could be a very good thing for things like archives and historic
documents...That's a cool thing for me, given my chosen field of graduate study...But I'm concerned that something that
does this is very very bad for the earth. Which is not a cool thing.
