Yarn Binge.

Comments Off on Yarn Binge.

This will be mostly photos.  I went to Soft Horizon Fibre today, and came home with less money and more yarn.  I also found some yarn at goodwill while I was picking up men’s workshirts to wear to field school.  This is an image off all the yarn I aquired today.:

And close ups, from left to right: lamb’s pride worsted in Clemantis and Blue Heirloom for a felted bag, manos del uruguay in color 105 for some things for my sister (hat, scarf), douceur et soie in color 8248 for Nanie’s scarf, regia mini ringel color 5220, and my thrift store finds.  I got 4 skeins of Tahki Cotton Twist, a skein of Lamb’s Pride Bulky in Blue Magic and a skein of Gjestal naturespunn no.1 in color 081 which says it was made in norway for plymouth yarn.  Grand total cost of my thrift store yarn, $6.

The regia is for a pair of fingerless gloves, and the others have yet to find homes.  I also got a set of 5 double pointed bamboo needles size 2, a pair of size bamboo straights, and a size 15 24″ bamboo circ.  I have metal needles, but I find they tend to stress my wrists way more than the birch ones I have.
