my mom will be arriving in town tonight from maine so theboy and i have been so scattered with trying to get everything ready and me getting work done so i can take three days off from work and classes…anyway…

on friday, i was in the office of deeds and records [where they hand out the marriage licenses] doing deed research for a class and a couple who looked to be in their 70’s came in after a marriage license. I only caught bits and pieces of their story but they had been sweethearts when they were young and then ended up getting separated. He had gone on and married someone else, she had never married. She moved to California and he tracked her down and found her again. And now they’re getting married. It was the cutest and sweetest thing I have ever seen.
