A dear friend of mine recently became the father of a wonderful baby boy. Therefore I began to knit furiously and at this point have finished these:

The one on the left [being modeled by the creepy, creepy boobah] is supposed to be a duck, but looks a lot like a seagull to me. The one on the left [being modeled by wintertime pooh] is a frog, with pom-pom and button eyes. They were fun to knit and I’m currently working on a wee sweater so I can send all the things off to Minnesota.
