It should come as no surprise to anyone that I love the muppets. So when I started seeing the commercials for new diet cherry vanilla dr. pepper I was definitely intrigued. I also absolutely hate diet soda. I am definitely willing to make an exception to my hatred for this one though. Derek picked some up the day that I went to Portland and so we tried it that night. It tastes enough like dr. pepper, but the cherry and vanilla are enough to mask the bad taste of fake sugar. I give it a good, solid two thumbs up.

I haven’t seen the non-diet version of the soda yet, but I’m intrigued to try that too. I’m a little worried that with actual sugar the soda will be thick and too sweet. We’ll wait and see.
