There’ve been some technical difficulties here at the Ink. Most of it should have been invisible to you out there reading this, but to me, it made it so that I could neither see, not update my site for a bit. Just as I finally had time to again!! Anyway, I finished my second term project with about 2.5 hours to spare. Its not the best paper I’ve written, but its also not the worst. Next term I will not do things the way I did them this term. Friday night I also finished up my internet scavenger hunt final. Yup, I was given a list of 10 things and had to find them using search engines and the library’s search capabilities. Some of the items we were given were hard to find and almost drove me nuts.
Yesterday, TheBoy and I got up early and made our way to Salem to meet his mom. The boy played games at the nickel arcade while his mom and I went to The Green Show, a craft bazaar, to do some Christmas Shopping/spend some girl time together. I bought myself a shiny new copper ring, in the picture up there at the top and I bought gifts for my family from TheBoy. Marionberry Syrup for my dad and Marionberry Balsamic Vinger for my mom. And some trinkets for my sisters, which I will show after Christmas. We then went to CostCo and bought a lot of food in bulk, like we do at the beginning of every month, and to lunch. We also picked up some random things to finish up in the preparation of gingerbread men. There will be people at my house (hopefully more than just Kristi and I) to make gingerbread men this afternoon. The supplies included a bottle of rum, and a bottle of Trader Joe’s spicy cider which will be mixed together and made warm during the man-making party.
Speaking of things to drink, while we were at CostCo, TheBoy found Oregon Chai in the flavor of Chai Nog. Its really good, all the goodness of Nog, with none of the egg-y taste. I’d never had Chai before as I’m not much of a tea drinker, but that stuff is good…Anyway, I’m off to go clean my apartment. Man-making party photos tonight or tomorrow.
