Halloween is the best holiday.  I hadn’t carved a pumpkin in several years, but they were only $.08 a pound so Derek and I decided to pick some up, and then picked up a little packet of carving tools that came with patterns.  We both wanted to use the pirate skull pattern and here is the proof:

Derek’s is on the left, and mine is on the right.  He selected his pumpkin based on how much it looked like Wilfred Brimley.
