I started my felted tote last night.  I have the bottom done and about an inch and a half or two up the sides done.  Right now I’m working with Meema’s Marsupial tote from stitch and bitch, but I’m not sure if I’m going to work the handles the way they are in there.  We’ll have to wait and see how adventurous I get.  I’ve worked a few inches on the nanie scarf, and I love it.  Its a little slow going with the mohair, but its so soft and the halo on it is so beautiful…I think I may add some beads to the ends when I am done, I have some purpley ones that will look lovely.  I really should have knitted them in, but since its going to a woman who won’t batter it too much, I think I should be able to sew them on in a manner which I like. I also didn’t really think about it when I was casting on and I don’t feel like frogging back.  

Derek and I watched The Ladykillers the other night and both agreed that while it was okay, it was not fantastic.  

Also, to the guy who always comes to my register while talking on his cell phone: I am not the rude one. I am doing my job. I am very sorry that my double checking to ensure that you have brought me the movies that you actually wanted to see interrupts your phone conversation.  I am also sorry that you did not want to pay for your movies, but instead wanted to purchase a movie pass, something that was impossible during your visit yesterday due to our credit card system being down, however, whether or not the computer system is receiving the correct satellite feed is not something that I can control.  So please, hang up the phone, and have a little respect.
