Shortly after I returned from the grocery store yesterday afternoon I got a call from work.  I kind of assumed someone had called in sick and they needed me to come in, but when I answered it my friend Kristie says to me “Megan and I have planned your Thursday night.” We have another midnight meeting and Megan didn’t want to have to take the bus home and then get someone to drive her back again, and figured she’d ask if she could come hang out here.  Then Kristy decided that she wanted to see some of the stuff we just got in but she doesn’t have a DVD player and we didn’t get VHS so they figured they could bring over some standup comedy on DVD and the three of us could hang out here together.  I am actually pretty excited by this idea, it’ll be the first time I’ve really hung out with anyone except Derek and his friends since I moved here.  I know I have a great apartment, so it’ll be fun to share it with people.  

On a side note, and I know not too many people read this, but I’m doing my part…J. Jacques of Questionable Content is going to be trying to make his webcomic his full-time job. So go over, check it out, and if you’re able, donate or buy a shirt!
