putting my own spin on things

Ugh.

Comments Off on Ugh.

I forgot to mention on Tuesday that when I got to work everyone was just abuzz with news.  Our store manager was due to have her baby on September 24th.  However, after working all day Monday, she went home and went into labor, having the baby around 11am on Tuesday.  As far as we know, both baby and mom are fine. Unfortunately it means her maternity leave started a little earlier than we’d though it would, which means that tonight, at midnight, I have to go back to the store (after working 10-5already) for a store meeting.  Which will last until approximately 1 or 1.30, and then I have to come home and go to bed since I have to be back at work at 10 tomorrow morning.  I’m already exhasted because my brain has decided that I no longer NEED to sleep. I’ll be super super tired sitting on the couch, and then the second I lay down in bed in the dark, my brain starts spinning.  If anyone knows how to turn it off, other than alcohol, I’m looking for an answer.
