Llama Llama
The above is my favorite llama, Flint. Flint is a retired champion show llama and he lives with TheBoy's mom. You can find more photos of him on my flickr. I'm afraid that's all from me from here in Eugene, the next time I post I'll be living in Anchorage. Check back though, I'm sure it will be story and fun-filled and keep an eye on my flickr for photos!

Do they not make laundry detergent in tab form anymore?! I went looking for some today to pack to take with me to Alaska and nothing. In more than one store. Its liquid or powder and that's it. Period. Grrr!

not much to say, birthday images have been edited, labeled, tagged, etc. I'm leaving tomorrow for anchorage-start my internship on monday. i have to be pretty vague about what i'm doing, just because this workplace would not want me blogging about it. suffice it to say that i will be working in the field of historic preservation, so i'm actually using a degree!!! whee! my flickr will hopefully continue to be updated as I travel, hopefully with some spectacular scenery. anyway, here's my friday random ten - the leaving on a jet plane edition.

Uffda!
Been busy. Helping TheBoy's mom get settled in her new house, taking photos of Flint the llama and a pair of Romney sheep who will be my fleece for spinning as soon as the shearer comes in and I get back from Alaska. Trying to prep everything for my trip...Yii-ii-ii! I'll be uploading the photos of Flint soon, he's not a very petting friendly llama but the only time he threatened to spit was when Lou the pug got up in his face and was too dumb to back off.
