Baby Boobah.
A dear friend of mine recently became the father of a wonderful baby boy. Therefore I began to knit furiously and at this point have finished these:
The one on the left [being modeled by the creepy, creepy boobah] is supposed to be a duck, but looks a lot like a seagull to me. The one on the left [being modeled by wintertime pooh] is a frog, with pom-pom and button eyes. They were fun to knit and I'm currently working on a wee sweater so I can send all the things off to Minnesota.
Wheee!
I applied for a job in Alaska. I didn't get that job, but I got a phone call from the a different agency there. They want to hire me for a different job [that is more what I would enjoy doing] at a slightly lower pay [which is still way more than I'd make here in Oregon or at the other place I have a potential job. So, at this point I am pretty sure I'll be living in Anchorage all summer!
