Crazy No More.
I'm feeling much better than I was at this point last week. Apart from some early frustration in the workplace this morning, life is pretty good. I spent Friday being excessively lazy and loving every second of it, and between Friday and Saturday finished up the two gifts that needed to be done by Sunday. I finished Nanie's Christmas scarf, and Jill's birthday Clapotis.
I used Over The Rainbow yarn and it was beautiful, good quality, excellent color, etc. I did have to shorten the scarf by 5 repeats, due in part to the approximate yardage of the yarn, and the yarn eating abilities of the clap.
Relaxing.
I took a mental health day today. I didn't feel right for the past several days so I talked to my fantastic boss and she suggested I take the day off. I also decided to skip my one class, because I was able to. so I'm having a me-time filled, lazy day today. I've only been up an hour, and now I'm going to go knit.

Today, I am in mourning. I am in mourning for the loss of respectability of the country I love. for the men and women away from their families and friends serving their country, those who have fallen, and those who are at risk, not just of death, but of the terrible havoc this president is creating.
Most of all, I just want to be able to be proud to be an American again.

I made another etched vase, this time for me. I decided to go with flames. Three shots--left, front and right. Sorry they're blurry, its hard to photograph glass without sunshine. I filled the vase with red water so you can see it better.
