Rapid City, woohoo!

I just got off the phone with Bonnie. They stopped in Rapid City, SD for the night so they can make quick visits to Mt Rushmore and Crazy
Horse tomorrow. So she's officially one time zone closer to me now.

Now if you'll excuse my I have to go back to my stuidies of evolution. A class I now call a killer of weekend fun.

She’s on her way

Bonnie graduated yesterday and managed to finish getting all her stuff packed. I probably won't hear from her again until tonight, but the
plan was to leave at 8:00 am this morning to start making her way west. As I understand it, they'll stop for the night near the Crazy Horse memorial. I'll keep you updated as I know more.

I think this is the best one yet.

I got another graduation gift today, and let me tell you,
this one might be the best one yet. My boss bought me a cookbook. The Great Minnesota Hot Dish Its
full of hot dish recipes--the things I call casserole. Its full of good sounding, easy-to-make, casserole recipes.
Derek will probably tire of them very soon, but they're quick, easy, and freeze well, as well as being
inexpensive...HOORAY!

Downtime…

Alright folks, my computer is broken and as I will be leaving
Fargo in less than a week now, I'm just going to make myself scare starting now. Derek should be able to fix things
once I get to Oregon, but I'll probably be sans internet for awhile. I will do my best to update at least once more
between now and Saturday, we'll see how things go. I have my entire worldly belongings to pack. And a lot of goodbyes
to be said.

More graduation fun!

I've gotten one more gift on the theme of sex, and 2 non-sex
themed graduation gifts. My older sister bought me a hardcover copy of The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler. I am so
thrilled over that. We had our staff recognition at work yesterday and the place that I work (in the NDSU Memorial
Union) gave me a lovely card and a gift certificate to use at the bookstore. I've been working there ever since I was
a freshman five years ago so its nice to be appreciated. This morning when I came in to work the woman that runs the
Union's Art Gallery had left me a card in my mailbox (I do a lot of design work for the gallery, since it always seems
I'm the only one able to when they come in with stuff that needed to be done 2 days ago). Then as I was working away
at my computer this morning a woman who I worked with my 2nd year and then again this year brought me a gift. I
promised Chris I would take some photos of this gift, its a really cool sandstone paperweight with a thin,
multi-colored Bison in the middle of it.

I really like it, and it was super sweet
of her to do so. I love my workplace and I'm really really going to miss them. *sniff sniff*
