Hot Like Wasabi When I’m Next To Your Body

So,
today, right now, I am taking a much needed break and contemplating graduate school.  I need to talk to a couple of my
professors, but I'm kind of thinking I might apply for graduate school just in case.  Right now my two choices for more
schooling would be the University of Maryland (the preservation program there has a connection to the National Trust
library), and the University of Vermont (closer to home, and also having a great preservation program).  Let me know
what you think.

Travel Tips

Okay, I'm going to try and rectify my loser-ness.  Lemme see, where do I start? The bus. Greyhound scares me. Men
with only half their teeth, dirty women with saggy breasts, men that breathe on me and call me "Big Squaw"...so every
time I take one I try to find a guy around my age that looks like he'll not molest me, and will keep other men from
doing that also.  So this time I made friends with a guy named Joe from Winnipeg that works at a freak bar, which is
next to a tatoo place, who was on his way to see his girlfriend in Wisconsinn. He was pretty cool and its a shame I'll
never see him again because he seemed like someone I could dig being friends with.  Lemme see, what else. Flights home
were pretty uneventful, except for the fact that there were severe thunderstorms over Boston so planes were late...But
all of them were, including the next one I was supposed to leave on so it worked out well...Home was great, relaxing,
if not restful and I came back with a whole different outlook on myself.  It was brilliant seeing Gordon and Jake again
after so long and its great to know how some things never change. Other than that life's been the same old since I got
back, except work is horribly busy, and I've been talking to Hawk a lot more than in the past. He draws href="http://www.applegeeks.com">Applegeeks Check it out, its good stuff, he's an amazing person, his skills and
his ability to make me laugh astound me. Also, I cut my foot open in 4 places this morning, and have been limping ever
since.   Another thing is I have a weird request of y'all. I'm working on a collage of used post-it notes and want
doodles on said notes from my friends.  All it has to be is a post-it (or generic thereof) with some doodle, and a
signature on it.  I'm going to collage a binder with them to combine my love of binders and post-its in one project.
Leave me a comment if you want to do it, and I'll email you my address, and maybe send you a post-it doodle in return.
Thanks guys!

And Bends Before An Astounding Rain

Okay, so in
news today, Rowan linked to me from his page (Ordinary Language in "Los Blogos" there to the right) today. Whee! In
other news, I'm still tired, and since I went to the eye doctor today (hooray blue light!) I don't feel like staring at
a computer screen so my real post will be either tomorrow morning before Jake arrives, or Friday night, after I return
from my father's. Thanks for your patience!

She Wakes Up Smashed as Hell

Okay, so I'm home, I'm alive, the only people I know of that read this should already know that much.
I have a lot of stuff to type out, because its been a fun and crazy weekend and Monday, but I really shouldn't tie up
the phone line for much longer tonight *shakes her fist at the dialup connection*...At any rate, I'm sunburnt, happy
and jetlagged (although only slightly, I'm still askew) So, if you want more, check back tomorrow, or email me, and
I'll get back to you as soon as time allows.

I see blue skies through the tears in my eyes and I realize I’m going home

Well, this will be my last post for a couple of days, until Sunday at least. I'm
heading out in about an hour and a half to take a Greyhound bus to the cities to spend Saturday night with a friend.
We'll be taking in the art fair uptown and probably hitting up the Walker Art Museum as well.  then Sunday I'll spend
mostly in transit, and I'm very excited as I found out today that my sister is going to deal with the 2.5 hours each
way to Portland to pick me up at the airport with my mom (Sarah HATES long car drives because she's claustrophobic) and
so it means a lot that she's coming to meet me.  I miss her a lot, she's one of my best friends. Anyway, my friend Paul
is on his way over to play cribbage with me, and so I'm going to go now, and spend an hour with him. I'll be around
sporadically at best, but I'll try to update every couple days!
